- CLOSE PROGRAM USING TASK MANAGER
- Press the control, alt, and delete keys on your keyboard to reveal a selection field and select the Start Task Manager option
- A list of all applications will open in the Task Manager, where you must select Outlook and close it
- Click on the Processes tab to open all running processes in the Task manager; find outlook.exe and end the process
- REPAIR OUTLOOK
If you are still unable to search in outlook, you must repair Outlook altogether. Follow the steps mentioned below to do the same.
- Open the window control panel and select Programs; you will be provided with two options - uninstall or modify the program
- Select your entire Microsoft office package to be repaired
- Click on Change in the window followed by the Repair option; wait till the repair is complete and restart windows
